Welcome to the beautiful Galapagos Islands! There are many things that are interesting about them. Like the Galapagos Islands have a very unique history. They were created by volcanoes and were discovered in 1535. Also, that the Galapagos Islands have environmentalists that protect the Galapagos Islands. They protect the land so it can be preserved, and the islands would become a disaster without them.
The wildlife is also very interesting. The Galapagos Islands have many species that live here with unique habitats. Also, humans have impacted the islands. Humans have brought new introduced species, that have effected the food chain. With all the tourism, more airstrips had to be made to support the flow of tourists. The geography is also very interesting. They are located 600 miles off of the coastline of Ecuador. All the islands are made up of volcanoes. Their highest peak is Volcan Wolf.
